Summary

The serious dumping sites problems have posed a great threat to the children who live in the slums in the Kenyan capital Nairobi. These problems mostly centered in the slum settlements populated by poor people. The report said that the children have suffered from respiratory, gastrointestinal and dermatological or skin diseases due to the exposure to pollutants. This dumping problem is just one of the examples that happened across many parts of Asia. These problems have urged the government to develop measures to improve the waste management system.

A:These areas are mostly centered in the slum settlements. So the slums have to endure the dumping and pollution made by capital's people everyday.

A:There are many places that face the same problems such as many parts of Africa and other urban centre of the developing world.

A:The Nairobi City Council is one of the most corrupt institutions in the country and they haven't tried to improved the waste management system.

Due to the transport and destrution , the available space and the habitat of the creatures in Great Canyon are gradually decreased. In order to resolve the problems, the park calls for a plan to ban on the automobile and other transports. But the development outside the canyon also affects the environment of canyon such as the water shortage, smog pollution and the damage to creatures.The governmaent try to make reservation in parks by taking twenty-dollar fee from each person, hoping to make a big change in national parks.



It is beyond imagination that Great Canyon is running out of space. I think it is a good way to prevent from pollution by banning on the transports. Both the nature disasters and the destructions by human beings can cause serious problems to the nature resourses. People are too selfish to realize the importance of the nature and only care about their own profit. After reading this article, I feel very surprised and a little bit depressed. I hope the measure may really do help to the national parks.
